Johanna HellingeR
yoga teacher / Thai yoga massage therapist / laughter yoga leader

I am a passionate traveller and surfer and started my Yoga practise in 2005 to find mental balance and help with back pain from my stressful job. I decided to quit my office job in 2010 and travelled the world to expand my horizon. I experimented with different Yoga traditions, styles and methods until my travels finally brought me to India.
I undertook my Yoga teacher trainings in the beautiful Himalayan mountain province of Dharamsala in 2015, learning about Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga. In 2018 i went back to the green Jungle of South Goa in India and continued my training with Trimurti Yoga School based on 5 Elements Yoga, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Through Yoga I found a passion for Anatomy and working holistically with bodies, structures and energetic systems. I trained with Hadadi School of Thai Massage in Lisbon and have been working as a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist since 2015.

In addition I trained with Portugals Laughter Yoga ambassador Sabrina Tacconi to become a Laughter Yoga leader.

I am a registered and experienced Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance International and have been teaching Yoga full-time in Portugal and France since 2015.

Currently i teach weekly classes at Little Yoga Space Lisboa and organise monthly Laughter Yoga sessions, 5 Elements Yin/Yang Yoga workshops and Yoga and Surf days around Lisbon's beaches.

From April to November i also teach outdoor lessons with Rooftop Yoga Lisboa in the beautiful parks and on Rooftops with the best views of Lisbon, combined with brunches.

For me, Yoga is the ultimate Form of balance. By practising and sharing my knowledge i feel i can bring peace and harmony into every day of my life.

I love to meet people from all over the world that like to laugh and follow their passion for the things they love doing. I am very grateful to be able to share my experience and the benefits of Yoga, Laughter Yoga and Thai yoga Massage with you.
