Our 200h YTTC programme is designed to give you all the tools you need to create your own yoga classes and provide you with the knowledge and experience to bring your practise to the next level. 

La Casa Shambala provides you with an internationally recognised certification by Yoga Alliance International, opening your path to many possibilities of giving Yoga back to the world. La Casa Shambala is a non-dogmatic school that supports your journey of self-discovery, guiding you through the traditional teachings of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga and opening the space to allow you to connect and evolve. We provide you with the best soil, water and sun to grow, in a space where an opening of a single flower brings a celebration to the whole garden.

There will be personal attention from the teachers and we focus a lot on adjustments of movements, postures and breathing. We also cover modifications of asanas for people with injuries, medical conditions or any other limitation to movement.

This is a first level course, there is no required skill level or previous knowledge needed.  We start at the beginning to ensure all students build on a strong foundation.  

We do ask that if you are an absolute beginner that you (at the very least) take some online classes in the time leading up to starting the course to familiarise yourself with the basic movements and terminology as this course is fast paced. You can join Johanna here for online Yoga classes.

• 17 nights’ accommodation

• Fresh vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner on class days (arrival day - dinner only, departure day - breakfast only)

• Free pickup from the Portoalegre bus station on arrival day around 12:00. If you come on your own, we ask all students to arrive before 15:30, as this is the official start of the course.

Cancellation Policy

Any booking cancelled 30 days or more before the course starts is eligible for a refund.  Within 30 days we would only refund if a new covid restriction or negative test prevented you from joining.  Kindly note all refunds are less than any bank fees.  Alternatively, you may change dates or even venues and have the full deposit applied to the course of your choice.

La Casa Shambala allows changes to a maximum of 2 times but may require an additional deposit.
